Dress Code

Attire is expected to be formal for all guests.

Wedding Party:

For women, the colour scheme is a palette of blue, blue-green, or green pastels, similar to the colour scheme of this website. Long dresses are preferred.

For men in the wedding party, a tuxedo or suit is our preference. Matching our colour scheme, although preferred by us, is optional.

Guests:

For women, your colours should match the above, where possible. Do not worry about changing if you have already got a dress in mind that is a different colour or short in length; we'll still give you a hug when you arrive.

Men should wear suits or equivalent formal attire, where possible. We'll give you a hug, too.

Important Note

To clear up on some minor confusion, please note that our guests may wear any formal attire. If you can't manage clothes that match our chosen colour scheme, don't be put off and miss the wedding! Our wedding party will be concerned with matching, but you don't need to be!

"Formal" does NOT mean our wedding is a "black tie" event. You do not have to come in a suit with a little black bow tie and a hidden gun in your belt like James Bond. We'd like people to be as made up as they can be, to match the formalities of the day, but anything fitting English "dress casual" standards is fine by us.
